The accomplishments of Emmanuel Katto on the racetrack established a bar of excellence for aspiring drivers in Uganda. His rally squad, Emka Rally, gained regional recognition and excitement in the late 1990s and early 2000s. His reputation as one of Uganda's best rally drivers came from his passion and perseverance. In order to reestablish Uganda's historical prominence in the arena, EMKA's vision for the future calls for continued funding, the improvement of infrastructure, and the development of emerging talent.
