Ericsson has been chosen by Etisalat Misr to update its Business Support Systems (BSS) in Egypt. Etisalat Misr's BSS platform will be upgraded and modernised to enable increased data and Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) traffic, 5G readiness, and Internet of Things (IoT).

The agreement will provide Etisalat Misr with a suite of enhanced capabilities across all of its business processes, including customer, product, and service management, as well as for customers, enterprises, partners, network technologies, and events. With greater flexibility, Ericsson BSS will help Etisalat Misr to accelerate innovation and improve customer satisfaction. The arrangement also ensures capacity growth for Voice-over-LTE (VoLTE) utilising Ericsson Cloud VoLTE technology, resulting in a better customer experience for millions of consumers.

The collaboration will provide Etisalat Misr with a low-risk and cost-effective way to meet business possibilities in traditional telecom, digital services, cloud transformation, and IoT. Ericsson BSS products and partner ecosystem are powered by analytics-driven, real-time service and experience control, allowing growing digital ecosystems and becoming an intrinsic component of a great customer experience.
