Having cyst in ovary is a common problem in women. All women face this problem at some point in their lifetime. There are sac like structures inside the ovary which are filled with fluid. Every month during menstruation, a sac shaped structure emerges, which is known as follicle. Hormones called estrogen progesterone are released from these follicles, which help in release of mature eggs from the ovary .In some cases, it has been observed that even after the end of the menstrual cycle, the size of follicle continues to increase, which is called ovarian cyst.
