How Do We Eat Inflation? Canada is the world’s second-largest country by total area. Various Indigenous peoples inhabited what is now Canada for thousands of years before European colonization. Before that time, Indigenous peoples were nomadic and followed their source of food for survival. Now, due to colonization, they follow the signs to the grocery store and if they are able, pay absorbent prices for their daily nutrition and staples.
