Low-Pass Filter: the Basic Electronics Tutorial | Easybom A low-pass filter is a filtering method. The working principle is that low-frequency signals can pass normally, while high-frequency signals that exceed the set threshold are blocked and weakened. However, the magnitude of blocking and attenuation will vary according to different frequencies and different filtering procedures (purposes). It is also sometimes called a high-cut filter or a treble-cut filter. Low-pass filtering is the opposite of high-pass filtering.
