Royal Challengers Bangalore had a lot to purchase at the auction. And they did; they definitely did not plan to spend this much certainly.

After a decent run in the last edition of Indian Premier League, it was surprising for most of the cricket fraternity when Royal Challengers had decided to release 10 players in the lea dup to the auction. Which was why they had a lot of work to do and one of them was to find someone in place of Chris Morris. They clearly had plan to bid for Morris and they probably wanted to have him for lesser salary. Morris went on to break all the records and Bangalore team had to buy Maxwell for a massive Rs. 14.25 crore. But they had to opt for Glenn Maxwell. Getting service of Maxwell means the middle-order gets stability. But they still do not have an Indian middle-order batsman. They got Kyle Jamieson for a whopping Rs 15 crore and he should be filling in as a fast-bowling allrounder.
