Step 1: Check the ink cartridges Remove all the ink cartridges. Check whether the ink level in any of the ink cartridges is low. To check the ink cartridges, open the Canon IJ Status Monitor. Select the Maintenance tab and click View Printer Status. If you find that the ink level is low, replace the particular ink cartridge with a new one. Step 2: Cleaning the print head Remove the print head and clean the copper contacts on it thoroughly. Hold the print head under a hot water tap and flush out the dried ink inside it. Now, dry the print head. Reinstall the print head. Make sure that the ribbon cable connector is fixed correctly in the print head. Check if the Canon printer error code B200 appears again.
