The third day of Navratri is the arrival of Maa Chandraghanta. She is the third Avatar of Goddess Durga and so worshipped on the third day of Navratri. Maa Chandraghanta can be identified by the shape of Half Moon, which she has on her forehead and is dressed as Chandraghanta. She rides on the tiger and symbolises Shanti and Samriddhi. This year, the third day of Navratri will be on Tuesday, Sept 27, 2022.
