Transcendental meditation is simple to do, almost effortless and the meditation suitable for anyone above the age of 10. It is not about any religious beliefs, mind-control, a change in lifestyle nor any special ability. Transcendental meditation takes you into a deep relaxation phase and rest when practiced for 15-20 minutes twice daily. It should be practiced once in the morning before breakfast, so that one can start the day feeling alert and energized, and once in the evening before dinner, to relief accumulated stress from the day and for a good night's sleep.
